Supervision Sessions

I offer clinical supervision that is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based practice. As an experienced supervisor who has undertaken formal supervision training, I place great value on building strong, trusting relationships with supervisees. My approach is warm, professional, and tailored to each individual’s clinical context and learning style.

Supervision sessions are structured yet flexible, ensuring space for reflection, skills development, and professional growth. I draw on the Roth and Pilling Supervision Competencies Framework, which emphasises creating a safe supervisory alliance, fostering reflective practice, and maintaining fidelity to therapeutic models.

What to Expect in Supervision

  • Collaborative Goal Setting – identifying learning needs and supervision goals together.
  • Use of the CTS-R (Cognitive Therapy Scale – Revised) – structured feedback and marking to support skill development and ensure high standards of CBT delivery.
  • Varied Supervision Methods – including video and audio review, role play, live observation, discussion, and teaching to deepen skills and confidence.
  • Reference to Evidence and Literature – integrating up-to-date research and clinical guidance to inform practice.

My Commitment as a Supervisor

I aim to create a supervision space that is:

  • Supportive and safe – encouraging openness, curiosity, and reflection.
  • Challenging and developmental – offering constructive feedback that stretches skills while respecting individual pace.
  • Inclusive and neuroaffirming – recognising and valuing diversity in both therapists and clients, and adapting supervision to meet different needs.

Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced practitioner, my supervision offers a balance of guidance, reflection, and skill-building to help you grow in confidence and competence, while staying connected to the values that underpin your therapeutic work.
