Compassionate therapy for every kind of mind

Asset 1@1000px

Hello and a warm welcome

I’m Jenny, a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with over 14 years experience supporting people towards meaningful recovery. My practice is rooted in the belief that therapy should be accessible, respectful, and shaped around you.

I have extensive experience supporting people facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, phobias, and low self‑esteem, as well as adapting therapy for Autistic and ADHD clients and other neurodivergent conditions. My work has been recognised nationally and locally with awards for outstanding therapeutic care and for developing inclusive, innovative approaches to mental health support — recognition that reflects my deep commitment to those I work with.

I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if past experiences left you feeling unheard or misunderstood. I work differently. My priority is to create a warm, inclusive space where you feel safe, seen, and supported. Together, we’ll build a relationship based on trust, collaboration, and genuine care — because this is the foundation where lasting change begins.
No matter where you are in your journey, change is possible. You deserve to feel hopeful about your future.

You don’t have to stay stuck. Things can get better. And I’m here to help you take that next step.

How I Work

I combine evidence-based expertise with genuine compassion to offer therapy that is both effective and affirming.

My approach is collaborative and individually tailored.

Alongside my accreditation in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

This breadth of training allows me to draw on a range of therapeutic skills to create a flexible, clinically sound treatment plans that supports meaningful change.

Every treatment plan is shaped together — guided by your goals, strengths, and lived experience. I stay closely connected to the latest psychological research to ensure therapy is both grounded in evidence and emotionally supportive.

Whether you’re navigating ongoing stress, anxious thoughts, low mood, or the impact of past trauma, I believe everyone deserves to feel good about themselves — and to live a life filled with meaning, enjoyment, and opportunity.

Neuroaffirmative Therapy

As part of a neurodivergent family, I bring both lived and professional experience to my work, with over 20 years supporting neurodivergent people to achieve their goals.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked to help neurodivergent children and young people access play and employment opportunities. Today, I’m recognised as a neurodiversity champion within the NHS and as an Associate Lecturer, training fellow clinicians in affirming, personalised therapy adaptations.

Many of my clients come to me after feeling misunderstood in traditional services. I offer something different — a space where your identity, preferences, and communication style are genuinely respected and thoughtfully integrated.

In my work, I:

  • Listen with curiosity and care
  • Tailor therapy to your communication and processing style
  • Affirm your strengths, preferences, and neurodivergent identity

Whether you’re navigating masking, sensory sensitivities, or rejection sensitivity, I will meet you with empathy, understanding, and a commitment to creating a plan that truly works for you.

Beyond the Therapy Room

In addition to my clinical work, I’m an Associate Lecturer at the University of Chester and a Clinical Supervisor, supporting fellow therapists in their professional growth.

I have developed and delivered training to therapists in neuro-affirmative therapy.

These roles allow me to contribute to the future of psychotherapy through education, mentorship, and innovation.
